After perusing Pinterest for new garden projects ideas I was convinced I needed an upcycled solar garden chandelier, or two! I apologize for not providing the before pictures. Sometimes you just get so excited about a project and the smell of paint that you forget the camera.
You will have to use your imagination to conjure up the ugliest of the 1990’s southwest motif chandeliers for an accurate before of this gorgeous addition to my garden. One can of paint, garden solar lights with the stakes removed, a few drilled holes for drainage and wa-lah!
This beauty’s before life was your typical 1980’s brass classic. I think she looks amazing 30 years later flaunting her candy apple red.
As I watch the sun gently fading on a summer’s night, the lights begin to softly twinkle in the garden. I’m uncertain if the feeling of contentment that over comes me is caused by the scene that is unfolding or the wine I’m consuming. But since I will never be able to capture this accurately in a photograph, I will have to ask you to use your imagination again.
